2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Overhead console question

Hi guys. I just bought a 1998 extended cab and the overhead console is missing. Were there different one available that year. The electrical plug is still there, so I am hoping I can pick up another one and just plug it in and go. Also, are there any aftermarket ones available?

Is there a mounting plate that bolts to the body? I just have a hole in the headliner and then the sheet metal, nothing else but a 3 pin plug hanging
