Overhead Display Regen DPF Status

According to the DVD that came with my 08 2500, the overhead display is supposed to tell me when the DPF is partially full, regenerating, etc. It has never done this. Any ideas on why?

Mine never did either. Probably got lost in the many re-flashes they have done. Drive it hard and it'll be fine. How many miles on the truck?

It will only do it if your DPF gets to 80% full or more.

Exactly. If it is all working properly and you drive it like you should, you will never see the DPF messages.

38k and already had to replace turbo, dpf, egr units at about 30k. Never had a message on the overhead, just CELs.
