overhead display

Today I lost part of the overhead display on my 2003. Allit shows is the compass heading then --f where the temp. should be and the same -- where the DTE and MPG should be. Any thoughts? Nothing has been added or taken away from the truck. All was going well, I came out of a business and headed down the road and looked up and saw the problem.

This is the classic "blank stare" from the overhead, and is common to 2003 trucks. I'm not aware of any fix.

It tends to happen to me in clusters. It won't happen for many months, then all of a sudden it happens several days in a row, then not again for many months.

Sounds like how my RB4 Radio works. Fine for a few days then nothing for a few. Wish I could help ya brother.

Thanks Ryan. I went out and started the truck and "Shazam" all better now. Saved me a service diagnostic charge.
