2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission overhead display

Have any of you added the overhead display to a non equipped Ram? I have a 2001 that has keyless entry so I know it has the premium PCM module. From what I can discover I only need the temp sensor and 2 wiring harnesses. Will the display be "plug and play" or will I have to take it to the dealer and get some programming done Does anyone here have experience with this?

I've always wanted to get the overhead display for my '97 . I've wondered the same thing about if it would just plug in. How much it would cost. Have checked 2 salvage yards and they never get any. Get tired of going down the highway at night and rolling down the window to feel the back of my chrome mirrors to see if the rain is starting to freeze yet. Anybody???
