overhrad computer

Have any of you added the overhead console? My 2001 has remote keyless entry so I have the right PCM module. I think I would only have to get the temp probe that goes under the hood at the front grill and the wiring harness. will it plug and play? Or will the boys at the dealership have to activate something

I'd be willing to bet it'll just plug and play. But that's just my opinion.

The temp probe is already there... . the ECM needs air temp for correct fuel delivery... . so they just route that information to the overhead display.....

Not quite true. The ECM takes its inlet temperature from the IAT sensor, on top of the filter plumbing. The overhead has a separate thermocouple mounted up in front of the passenger-side intercooler end-cap.
