Overspray removal?

My son decided to explore the garage a while back and found some Testors model spray paint and decided his pinewood derby car needed a new coat of paint. In the process, he shot some spots of paint all over the front of my truck. What is the best way to remove the paint without damage to the clearcoat? I tried a clay bar but didn't work. Any suggestions?
