Soft sided camper???

Arctic Fox vs. Forest River Flagstaff

Fellow RV’rs/Boondockers

We are planning on spending a week in the Overton/Overton Beach area of Lake Mead in mid March. Does anybody know if there is a BLM area for “boondocking” close by? Are there any National Park camping areas that honor the “Golden Age Passport” close by?

Thanks in advance for all your replies!

Overton beach camping

The camp ground at Overton Beach on Lake Mead will be closed as of March 31st. All docks and boats are gone. There is BLM camping South about 5 miles from Overton. Its is free. You can get water and dump at the Overton Beach campground. I just came home from spending 2 months there. If you want to call me I can fill you in on the area. Its nice down there.

We go to Echo Bay throught out the summer, about 7-8 miles south of Overton Beach. They have full hookups at the commercial CG, or Golden Age pass rates at the NPS sites with no hookups (but a dump station and water).
