I have a 2011 6.7 deisel turbo, with a bad p014c oxygen sensor b1s1. Engine light keeps coming on and going off every few days. Other than changing the sensor might there be another solution to keep it from getting carboned up. If not can I buy this through TDR.
thanks for any input...Wayne

There's a bulletin for codes related to O2 sensors which I have stored here -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1epIteFE7i-QTFSQUVhOTZEWEE/view?usp=sharing

The overlay harness is available on eBay for about 100 bucks -> http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=68250763AA&_sop=15

In all fairness, the code you have regards to sooting as well, and as described in the bulletin it may be due to something else. Nonetheless since the bulletin applies and the harness could be the cause, if it was my truck, I would start with the harness, unless you have access to the diagnostic tool. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the quick response.....this membership is probably better than my mechanic.....now I'm informing him....(kidding) I'm going to look into the harness first, and I'll show him the bulletin and see what happens. Thanks again......very impressed

The best thank you for the community would be for you to report back on the results whether positive or negative so that others can be helped.
