I cant stand Nugent, he is way too obsessed with killing things, juts play your guitar already.

Ozzy is a nice guy, and he is definatley the godfather of heavy metal.

Once the link works, ill check it out.

I like both of their music, and I've seen both several times.

I like Nugents political views on things.

Ozzy dont know when to say NO to drugs, you'd know this if you ever saw him on his TV show. :D Dude cant get out a coherient sentence... .

Eric

Heard the head of the DEA say that Ozzy just by his example has more effect than all "just say no" commercials ever made...

I try to play the guitar, and I LOVE Nugent!!! Ozzy is cool too, and WAY to funny on his show. Nugent all the way though. You gotta love someone who refuses to accept political corectness.

Andrew

On Edit: I also LOVE Ozzy's old lead player, Randy Rhodes, who is no longer here on earth.

The graphics are all screwed up Gene, but if you click in the upper left hand corner of the bar below the pictures (as long as you have realplayer installed) it should work.

I love the music both of these guys have produced. I think Ted is a great guy and certainly has his priorities in order, his family comes first. He also loves hunting (as I do) and uses everything from the animals that he kills (as I do also). Unforetunately, Ted pushes things just a little too far and in the end I think he hurts hunters more than he helps us. Yes there is a rush when you make the kill - but there's also a lot of sorrow and respect. Ted doesn't put that across very well.

Ozzy makes great music, but watching the Osbourne's is sad for me. Ozzy is the poster child for why you shouldn't do drugs! I've experimented in the past and am really glad that I didn't go to the excesses that Ozzy did. I don't find anything funny about watching a man who's a great musician (IMO) with a fried brain stammer with his speech. Unforetunately his kids seem to have received the worst end of the deal - they are going to have a very hard time getting through life.

Nugent way to obsessed with killing things,EMDDIESEL???,,Guess you do not follow old Ted much then to understand why and what he is about,,How can you not like a dude who has lived his career without doing drugs or alcohol and just plain loves to hunt and shoot... .

Ozzy is a sad story,,Once great vocalist who can bearly put a coherent sentence together due to excessive drug and alcohol abuse,,His music was pure genious and sounds were amazing, but, even the true Oz lover(as I am also) can bearly stand to see or hear his concerts now,,His time has passed and as all greats should,he needs to think about retirement as not to further damage his legacy...

Both great in a past time,Oz and Ted,but,at least Ted can still rock like he did way back... Long Live The Nuge... ..... Andy

I saw Ted live in concert Wednesday, I was at the very front:D I had a blast all though I was deaf for the next 5 hours it was worth itOo.

Ozzy can play as well, "Crazy Train" is my faverite.

recent developments might give ammo to the "other side"..

... Oz has done enough drugs to bulldoze a hospital, but his wife's the one with cancer..... somebody might say, "Preventionnnn!! WooHoo!" ('course they wouldn't be right, but, you can hear the late-nite infomercial now, can't you?)

Correct me if I'm wrong but Ozzy said if she loses her hair, he will shave his head in support of her.

I have seen Ozzfest twice, and Ozzy was awesome both times. He deserves credit for introducing the best metal bands to this country. Almost every great metal band got their start opening shows for the godfather of metal - Metallica, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Ratt, and even bands like ACDC that already had a following toured with OZZY. In recent years almost every new rock/metal band has got their first big exposure on the Ozzfest tour - Limp Bizkit, Rob Zombie, Staind, Korn, System of a Down, POD, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, on and on.

Nugent comes off to me as a loudmouthed egomaniac. I remember an appearance he did on Howard Stern about a year ago where he was shooting his mouth off about some activist he claims he was accosted by and how he made a citizens arrest and he was a trained US marshall for 30 years, blah, blah, blah. The guy nugent was talking about actually called into the show and refuted everything that ted was saying. Nugent started backpeddaling big time. Ted did however accept the activist guy's challenge to come back on the air the next day with proof of his version of what happened. The next day Nugent was a no-show and was not returning calls, meanwhile this wimpy sounding activist kid showed up with a police report that said that in fact it was ted that was sited for harrassing him! Ted has not been on the Stern show since, he used to come on all the time.

Nugent is an egomaniac, but is pretty talented, i just cant stand musicians who fell the need to always have a political message. That one of the reasons i hated Rage Against The Machine, thats the reason they broke up also. Its just like shutup and play, your a musician, not a politician.

Unless it directly affects the music industy, they should stay out of it. BONO is the worst of the bunch, he is by far the BIGGEST egomaniac on the planet and you will see his annoying face in every issue in this world.

Ozzy is old and has MANY miles on him, but he can still put on a great show. He sells out almost every show and the crowds go absolutley insane when he comes on. He is not what he used to be, but i assure you, the fans dont mind. He is still the biggest draw on the tour.

Go see Ozzfest and then you can decide for yourself.

I agree with that, just because people will listen to 'em ,doesn't mean they are experts.

I think Ozzy plumeted after Randy Rhodes died, "Diary... ", and "Blizzard. . " are the only two of his I like. I like about the same amount of songs by Nugent as well.

I'm more into Kansas, Pink Floyd..... :D
