Good day to everyone,

I am interested to know what is involved to successfully install a Bosch P-7100 injection pump on to my 1st Gen CTD. Could some please supply me with a list of Required Parts, Part Numbers, and Special Tools one would need in order to successfully complete the installation.

I would greatly appreciate any information.

Thank you,

Nicholas R. Gajewski

swap

:cool:Hey Nick, I haven't done the swap yet, but in my case I have a 96 core motor with the pump and pretty much complete as it takes the cam and inner timing housing as well as the injector lines and different injectors. I don't really think that the linkage to operate the p7100 pump would be to hard to figure out. There are some fellas on here who have sucessfully already done this project if they would be so kind as to respond. Good luck on this and by all means keep us posted!! Get the 215hp pump if you can! Tim1,

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm not certain when I am going to begin this project, if at all. I'm currently having some issues with my 1st gen at the momment, which may cost me more $$$ than I wish to spend. I will do my best to keep everyone updated on the project.

Thanks again,

Nicholas R. Gajewski

Check your search feature for the first gen forum archives. I recall at least one thread on this topic where responders (including me) gave a lot of details and part numbers. . .

Best wishes with your project--and it won't be cheap or real easy to do.
