p-7100 timing

Just had my pump overhauled and the shop set the timing to 14* and would it make any difference setting it up to 18*?

It depends on what mods you have.



there is no perfect timing setting for all applications.

15. 5 - 16° will do better on a stock engine than 14° for general driving and towing.

The stock camplate has been ground and slid all the way forward and the afc housing is all the way forward and the wastegate is blocked off. I have just purchased a 14cm wastegated exhaust housing and i've got 4" exhaust.
