The past 10 days have been a very busy time for us. We finished testing the POWER EDGE, TC, AND 275 Injectors. We took our program to (Mission Raceway Park)stock the truck ran
18:37 at 75mph. With only the Power Edge added the truck ran 16:76 at 84 mph. that calculated to a 91HP gain with stock exhaust and air cleaner. Saturday night we added the 275 injectors, first pass Sunday 15:76 at
87mph, power increase of 39HP. With the POWER EDGE there was little to no smoke, the 275 injectors added plenty of smoke down the entire 1/4 mile.
We got a little talking to by the race officials for the excessive smoke. Dumping diesel fuel on the race track at the Canadian National open was not well recieved. The 275 injectors are not really high on my must have list. The numbers indicate they do not yield the power gains
i believe ive heard and read they advertise.
I bought my 275 injectors through Baker
Diesel very reasonably. The 275 injectors if you know the BOSCH part number range in price from $285. to $310. 0, if you have to use somebody elses part number they sell for $499. 00.
The POWER EDGE delivered the advertised HP increase of 91HP. After the power increases the TC still maintained a fluid coupling efficiency of 93. 6% in 3rd gear at the 1/8 mile marker.
The track officials did however say when they were able to see again, that they never saw any Dodge Diesel do a burnout quite like that. Lucky for us someone video taped it and is sending me a copy.
