I have not hooked up my boostguage yet(see other post) but I do have my DD#1 injectors and Psychotty air along with my Jardine 4" exhaust and I can (With truck empty) only hit 1025* with the PE off, wide open throttle all the way to redline! Great , but in PE level #1 1250+*, PE level#2 1350++(have seen 1400* so I came out of the throttle) and on the PE standard level #3 I quit at 1400+* but I was not even close to full throttle. I wish I had boost nums to give but not yet. I did check all of the fittings from the turbo to the intake and all were ok. the boost elbow and all fittings are sound as well. I have the 12cm2 turbo stock and I really do not want to go to a bigger housing.

Anybody have any more Ideas for reduction of my egt's all the power potential does no good if I cannot leave my foot in it.
Also anyone know what kind of temps you get out of a VA and DD#1's with a similar setup like mine?

Also wanted to plug Jardines exhaust system . Well put together, sounds great, less filling!!!

HOV, I am currently running the VA, DDStage1 Injectors, Practical Solutions boost module and elbow, Walker four inch muffler with a four inch tail pipe.

This set up has lots of good useable power. My max boost is 30 psi. The hottest egt's I have seen is 1225 degrees (pre-turbo). That was on a hill with a 450 gallon water tank completely full, 86 degrees F outside temperature and running 95 mph.

This set up is also not to demanding on the clutch.

Like the guys said in your other post, adjust your elbow. It does not sound like you are getting all the boost you can. Others run your same setup (or less) and have no problems. You really need to get you boost gauge installed to see the full story. Then you can get a VA to run with your PE.
 
My truck has the DD stage II injectors,DD boost module,wastegate fitting,Psychotty Air,and straight pipe 3" exhaust. With this setup,the EGT's at WOT can hit a max of 850deg (preturbo).
Yesterday I had the opprotunity to try my setup with a VA box... at WOT max EGT was 1050deg,but boy did it smoke!

Guys, hold the phone. Edge products now has a box very similar to the va, but comes with a boost modual.

HOV, couple this box with your PE box and egts will drop across the entire range, plus add another 50hp.

Currently a PE coupled with a va will cost sewveral hundred more than the PE/PE combo. #ad
