Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) P-pump question

Im going to purchase a 12V motor for a repower. The man im getting the motor from said he had engines with the P7100 Series pump. He also said he had motors with a P8## and P9## series pumps. My question is this. Which one of these pumps are most desirable?Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Dodges came with the p7100 so there are a lot of after market parts and an endless supply of technical support
