P0118 and performance changes

Does anyone know if there are any default engine management strategies associated with P0118, engine coolant temp sensor voltage too high? I haven't cleared the code yet as the engine feels way stronger like it is fueling "better. " Just thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this kind of behavior out of their rig.

Not sure on that one. I have been having some issues one of them fueling which I believe has been fixed. The fueling issue I am refering to. I changed so many sensors and the ecm that I am not sure which one fixed it. The coolant sensor was one of the sensor I changed last week though. It was only around 9 dollars at cummins so it was a no brainer. Sorry I couldn't be of much help to you. Change the sensor and if the truck is slower put the bad sensor back in. Lol
