Can some one tell me what these codes mean . and do i need to replace parts. thanks



truck is 2001 dodge 2500 4x4 , automatic, 88000 miles, all stock

It could mean a short, loose, or corroded connection in the wiring harness between the APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) and the ECM.



Are you experiencing any problems?



If not, just clear the trouble code and see if it comes back.

It could also mean that the APPS in you truck is dying.
If this is the case, Geno's sells a replacement, TPS98502 for about $170. The Dodge unit is around $400.

Symptoms of a dying Apps are a dead pedal, where the throttle will just quit, and then will come back a few seconds later.
