In the past week my truck has set P020A, P020B, and P020C codes. I know these are injector related, but have no symptoms, no misfires, smoking, stumbling, etc. I am clearing the codes and continuing to drive, but do I have a problem that needs immediate attention. I am currently in Phoenix and will start my homeward trip in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions on whether to continue to drive, or immediately find a shop would be greatly appreciated. I have 104,000 miles on my truck and this is the first ever MIL.

P020A-FUEL INJECTOR 1 PERFORMANCE

P020B-FUEL INJECTOR 2 PERFORMANCE

P020C-FUEL INJECTOR 3 PERFORMANCE

Theory of Operation
When Monitored:
While the engine is running.

Set Condition:

When the PCM determines that unintended fuel injection has occurred.

Possible Causes

  1. LOOSE VALVE COVER HARNESS WIRES ON THE FUEL INJECTOR TERMINALS
  2. FUEL INJECTOR
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.

If they all came in at one time could be a wiring issue, but it probably should be looked at, at some level.

Not sure why it looks all giant sized text?

Maybe someone has some experience with the injector harnesses and any known issues?

There is a long list if other codes and says to check and fix them first, since you don't list any of those.

The troubleshooting is a visual on the Injector wiring under the valve cover, then it goes into the actual Injector testing.

Since you are in Phoenix, if you decide to use a FCA dealer, I've had good luck with Earnhardt. Never had them do any diesel specific repairs but they have always been good on my truck and van repairs.
