Got the code on my truck. It looked like it meant it defueled because the engine got hot. I had to haul a trailer load of round bales last weekend and the temp gauge got pretty high because of the constant stop and go. I never noticed the truck defueling and the code is still there a week later. Did my EZ keep it from defueling?

After I noticed the gauge was way up there, I turned the heat on to get rid of some of it. The next load I was able to take highway and temps stayed in the normal range. Truck runs just fine.

i have also set this code on my truck a few times hauling heay loads in soft dirt i also havent ever felt my truck defule maybe that is because of the chip i dont know. took my truck to the car whash and spent about 15 minutes washing out the radiator and that helped me keep from over heating. my trucks crank case breather bottle is gone and i just have the stock tube but it is not blowing any oil on the radiator so i didnt remove to clean it

Next time I'm up near the Cummins dealer I'm going to pick up some coolant, and pull out the radiator to clean it when I change it. The front of my engine has sludge from the breather so I'm sure the radiator has some too.
