Boost Fooler Hooked Up?
Which VA Box are you running? Have you changed the factory's Wastegate settings on the Turbo?
I have an older unit that doesn't have a Boost Fooler, the newer ones do have a Boost Fooler Harness. The boost fooler plugs in between the Manifold Air Pressure sensor and the Truck's harness, Teeing into the VA box. The MAP sensor is on the Driver side of the engine, way towards the back, below the #6 Injector line.
The boost fooler lets the truck "See" manifold pressures under 25 PSI, if the boost goes over 25 then the VA Box just sends the signal for 25 PSI to the truck's ECU.
My truck still has the factory Wastegate settings and doesn't go over 22PSI, If I change the wastegate's seting then I would need to Boost Fool also.
