P ECU- P0237 MAP Sensor Voltage Too Low

Set this code yesterday. Truck sat all night with both batteries completely disconnected and the 3 PCM connectors unplugged. Before reconnecting everything this morning I unplugged my UFM boost module and pluged in the stock pigtail. Code is still there. Any ideas on how to clear this code or what could be wrong?

TIA.

some members have advised that Autozone has a obd 2 reader and can erase codes for free, the only way on the late models are to have something to remove the stored code from the EPROM in the ecm/pcm, removing the power does little to nothing. :{

Thanks for the reply. Either I screwed around with it enough or it just decided to turn off the check engine light on its own. The codes are still there but at least if the light can come on now if it needs to.

Just keep drivng it. I had the same code, with some others come up after cleaning my IAT sensor. I disconnected batteries and such and it did not clear. So I just kept driving it and about a week later I checked to see if any codes were there and none showed.

on my 99 i had the check engine light come on as well! i started it up the other morning light came on and no rpm gauge!! so i pulled out mashed it and the rpm gauge starts to work again!! so today i cleaned the pcm plugs and the tps or apps whatever the heck is under the black plastic cover over the pump! so i started engine light still there shut off turned key to on position light went off! started truck and went to town to get fuel and light didnt come on till i took off out of the station and mashed the pedal and the light comes back on!! any one with some ideas what is going on?

It sounds like the crank position sensor and/or the cam sensor is going bad. I would order them both, just to have them handy. In fact, I am carrying spares of both in my truck, just in case.

well i drove home from work today and same deal check engine light is on but rpm gauge jumps up every hundered instead of gradually going up like usual! get home shut her off about 1hr later i go back out to start her and soon as she turns over starts up and she revs to 2300rpms and a huge cloud of black smoke came out then goes back to normal and the check engine light goes off and it hasnt came back since! cummins sell the sensors or do i have to go to the dealer?
