p0251 and miles from home

My cousin is about 200mi from home and through a p0251 code for the fca. Wants to know if he can limp home. He's pulling a small trailer with motorcycles. Its a 04 with a turner, but I'm not sure what type. Thanks Mark

He just reported back. He's nursing the truck at 50mph without the cruise control and it seems to be doing OK.

He should be able to get it home ok . If he has issues tell him to put some 2 stroke oil in the fuel tank

Pull the tuner. P0251 is a death code on a 2nd gen, not sure what it does to a 3rd gen.
