P0299 code while driving

My truck has been throwing this code very randomly it either does it right around 70 mph or while rolling to a stop. It doesnt do it all the time and you dont know when its going to do happen. Its very random and very annoying especially while traveling and having to pull over to clear the code to get the truck out of limp mode. Anyone else ever have this happen? It started maybe 2 months ago. Any help would be appreciated.

i will bet that is a 14mm housing on the turbo. that is the problem go to a 13 and it will go away

I dont think its the turbo, Iv had that turbo on the truck since 2007 and this problem just started.

you did not say if it was 14cm2. i think it is and that is the problem, it is very borderline. i have seen some rigs run two or three years before starting to throw the code and then only about every 1,000 miles. the ecm does not see the expected boost for the given fueling and it thinks there is a leak. in looking at your sig you need to go with twins. get the firt turbo with a 12cm2 housing. i tow heavy and do not play. but there are a lot on here that can help with sizing of the turbos. if that is a 62-64-14 turbo you only need to change the housing to 12 and add the second one
