Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) p0500 and p1693 codes

Any of you Guys know what the speed sensor malfunction would be(p0500)? Put 285 tires on it but other than that truck runs fine. Anyone ever experienced this before? Any input is appreciated. Thanks
