Does anyone know if this code is something to be worried about?

P0546 -exhaust gas temperature sensor circit high- bank1 sensor 1

It keeps coming back after driving for a bit for the past week or so. It has been cold here, but it was alot colder a few weeks ago, -40!, and I had no problems then. Is this sensor in the exhast? or is in on the motor somewhere that it could be picking up a problem in a cylider or some part of the head or turbo? I'm running around empty when it happens, so I'm definetly not over working the engine and running high temps. the egt is normal on the Edge monitor.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The sensor is in the exhaust, it is the first temp sensor in the exhaust system and it is between the turbo downpipe and the NAC. It is saying it is open, so perhaps it is loose/unplugged, I'd say look at that first. I don't think you need to be too concerned as you don't have any other temp sensor faults yet

I have the delete kit, so the resistor is problably got a problem with moisture or connection. I'll have to check it.

Thanks for the response.
