What does this code mean? I keyed the ignition 3 times to see what codes were there and I did not find it on http://www.obdii.com/codes.asp. The only thing I can find with a general internet search is "VIN Not Programmed or Mismatch - ECM/PCM. " But, it appears this is a GM code.

Same code for the '03 Ram. "VIN not entered". The ECM needs the VIN programmed or is bad and needs to be replaced.

I tried to clear the code by disconnecting the batteries for 15 minutes with the key in the on position. Now, I have codes P0630, P2269, P0652, P0239 and P2509. In retrospect, I'm not sure I didn't have these codes before. Before I disconnected the batteries, I think I turned the key off after I saw ------- after the first code. I can only find reference to one of these above codes.

Brian,

Here's what I found in the Powertrain Diagnostic Manual:

P2269: Water in Fuel (WIF)

P0652: Low Voltage at the #1 Sensor Supply Circuit

P0239: [Couldn't find this one in the Powertrain Diagnostic Manual--I left the other three diagnostic manuals out in the truck]

P2509: Powerdown Data Lost Error

Thanks!

I wonder why my water in fuel light hasn't come on. Does that come on and stay on or just at start?

I think the 0239 was the one I found and it had something to do with the turbo sensore being low.
