Archived P1753 code truck in derate

I am camping with the family 3 hours from home. I have a code of P1753 on my 06 2500. It's for the transmission throttle valve actuator. A local dealer can get me one by tomorrow. Are there any other things I should look at or will need to do?

Googling it ,ttva replaced a mechanical one. You can do some test with computer may be a scanner.

Thanks I found that also. Unfortunately my scanner is at home. With only 80000 miles and being as reliable as it has been I don't ever think to bring it on trips. The local dealer couldn't get it in till next week sometime. Even after I explained I was out of town. I need to be home on Sunday

You might get lucky, clear the code and make it home. Some times it is just a glitch that causes it.

Dealer got the TTVA as promised this morning. I installed it in about 20 minutes. Took it back to the dealer where they cleared the code and reset it for free. So far so good. We will see tomorrow. Thank you to those who replied and Blaise Alexander Dodge in Mansfield Pa
