TSB 18-035-08 is now on TechConnect and has the updated PN O2 sensors as well as the procedure to wrap the sensors. The wrap will keep the sensors hotter to help burn off soot.

However if there are other problems, or the system has excessive soot build up the sensors will not do much better than the old ones. Your dealer needs to understand this or you will just be frustrated.

For those in Canada, no word on when these new O2 sensors will make it up here, so don't bother trying yet, I did and got nowhere fast.

So does anyone have a PDF print of this TSB available? I don't know how hard it is for dealers to keep up with TSBs, but there is no argument when I can show them a copy of what is supposed to be done. This is so aggravating.

I just had the TSB applied with the Sensors 5149263AA installed but no wrap called out on the order and no wrap on the pipe.

Does anyone know the part number for the thermal wrap? Not sure how hard this is to find. Thanks.

Dodge does not supply the header wrap it must be procured locally. Your dealer still owes you the wrap. It is required as part of the fix-not optional

I got it at Summit Racing, but another tech I talked to said he got it at Napa. The PN is listed in the TSB.

Went back and they installed the wrap. The new turbo & egr brought mileage back to what it was before the DPF plugged but the sensors & wrap don't seem to make any difference. New turbo has different part number than original.

The new sensors and wrap are to keep the sensor operational. Each part in this system must be fully functional for the system to perfom correctly. Any mods that change temps or pressures will throw a wrench in the works.
