Seeking opinions on this event: I was towing uphill with my Edge W/Attitude set on 1, and my truck coughed, lost power, and check engine light came on, but power resumed to normal in 4-5 seconds and drove home with no further trouble. I scanned it once home, got the 2149 code, I cleared it, and have had no further trouble since, this was back in October, maybe 3-4 K ago. Checked injector connections with the Edge harness but found nothing abnormal, and have since sent the Edge in for repair, to find that it was internally corroded and I purchased a new Attitude CTS module from them at a discount. Truck has 89K on it, always changed factory fuel filter at 10K intervals, ( 7 micron) and never turn the Edge up beyond the "1" setting. Running an aFe stage 2 filter/airbox, and MBRP 4" duals, never getting EGT temps over 1250-1300 when towing uphill , which is seldom, and running EGT temps usually below 1000 under any circumstance. I'm not looking forward to complete injector replacement, should I just pass this off as a fluke? Getting same MPG as always, no unusual noises or smoke etc... So many different experiences with injectors on these things, I'd like to see another 50K with mine at least! I baby this truck, with the hope that I can prolong lift pump and injector replacement...
