Fuel injector bank b circuit. Truck won't idle or run properly. Very very rough. Need help please. I don't know what do and need my truck back!!

If you have a PacBrake the # 1 injector can short out under the mounting plate. A wire can rub through on the plate. How do I know that :D

Same code here after my truck died on me when driving. Had lift pump code to start, swapped for new pump and still horrible idle and no power. Only code present now is the 2149. Leaning towards one of the 3 injectors has failed. Will ohm test and check over on Monday and will report back. Only 77k on my truck.

What year is your truck? You need to fill out your signature.

If it is a third gen, "b" circuit should be injectors 4, 5, and 6, I believe... (could be 3,4). It could be a bad injector harness connection, or a broken injector solenoid wire, or solenoid itself, or it could be a bad valve cover gasket(injector circuit is incorporated in gasket).

I would check connections first, then proceed onto the next.

My bank 2 is Dead. 4,5,6. Ohm'ed injectors and all show . 5ohm, except #4 which is zero'ed out ,which is "open" I believe? I would think that explains why the bank is dead. Any thoughts? Leaning towards replacing Injector #4 and hoping that is the fix?

If your meter is going to zero when you connect to the injector posts that would be a direct short( I assume you get a different reading if you hold your leads apart from each other). Don't know what the specs are for resistance but I would suspect a shorted or open reading would be the faulty injector. It would seem an open injector would result in a one cylinder miss, while a shorted injector might mess up the whole bank. Someone smarter than me might give you better insight on this though.

The ohm meter when touching the leads together reads . 2ohm, which is my "zero'ed out" reading I believe? Each injector reads . 5ohm except #4 which reads . 2ohm which I would assume shows the faulty injector? I am not great when it comes to electronics but #4 having the fault would or could kill the rest of bank 2?
