Had a CEL come on, when it felt like a intercooler boot blew off. Sounded like it was blubbering when you push the go pedal. Of course I tried to accelerate and no power. Then pushed the go pedal again and all was fine. This last time it did it all the same symptoms except when I pulled over it was missing badly. Shut it off, hooked up Smarty Box found the P2149 code "Fuel Inj Grp 2 Supply Voltage". Did a search on here and it appears that I may be having some siloniods (sp) going bad. Am I on the right track? 216K on origional injectors. If I have to replace siloniods I may just as well replace the entire set seeings how I will have them out anyway. Was thinking 50 hp upgrade and will the stock turbo be ok for now?

The TST or factory wiring harness can trip that code also. Disconnect the TST harness clear code and test drive see if it comes back. if it does get your dvom and start checking deeper.

My TST through codes like that during the whole time I had it. It would be fine for many months and then act up.
It finally stopped after I ripped it out and tossed it in the dumpster.
IMO (my background is in design and repair of aviation electronics) the pins TST uses in their connectors are too light for data signals under the temperature and vibration conditions that exist under our hoods. I'm sure they would be fine in any normal environment.
