6.7 needs PCM

About 4 years ago it threw P2262, I erased it and all was good. No symptoms except the CEL.
Same thing one year ago.
A couple of weeks ago I felt what felt like the exhaust brake venting while accelerating. No code.
Felt it again a week ago and it threw the P2262 at that time.
Also about a half dozen times over the last 6 months the truck would run rough after start. I'd turn it off and restart and it be fine.
So what do I do? I'm thinking for now continue to run it and see if it gets worse.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks,
John

BTW, I think you can pull the VGT actuator section with the electronics, and then manually move the actuator for the VGT and see if it moves freely. At Geno's they have a replacement/upgrade for this actuator, in the instuctions for that item, which you can download from the site, you can see the instructions that have you verify this is good, since if it is sticking, the new unit will just continue to have problems. If you find it's not sticking, then it might be the electrical drive that is having problems, and that upgrade unit might do the trick. This you can do pretty easy without taking the entire truck apart. Should be able to get there from the passenger side taking of the wheel. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/ram-cummins-turbo-actuator-halp-act12c1/engine-turbo
