I have a 2009 ram 2500 4X4. Got engine check light with a P2262 code. Truck ran fine. Next day no light. Drove 2 - 3 days no problem. Got light again. Ran the thing 40 miles at 80 mph stoped, went shoping. Started truck no light. Drove 80 mph back home with the exhaust break on. Two drives later no light. Hoping I have a bad sensor.

According to Dodge there have been numberous TSB's for this code. The latest TSB involves either cleaning or replacing the turbo, depending on what the tech finds. I'm almost positive there is an updated flash for your truck. Especially if your truck has not been in lately to a dealer for any work. They have updated the regen stratagy, to help with sooting issues.

There is a test now available that is different from the early days of the 6.7.It will tell the tech to either clean or replace the turbo. The cleaning procedure has also been improved

Ram runs 150 lb air bags, 2" front lift and halls a 14,000 lb. 5th wheel. It goes in every 3,000 miles, oil and fuel change. Turbo and exhaust was replaced at 60,000 miles. Has 80,000 on it now.

When the light does not come on there is no codes found but when the light is on it shows a P2262 code. Code has not been reset.

I just hope I have to spend over $2,000 again.
