Supposed to be a regeneration frequency problem. It did regen last week and again today. What could cause this and how to fix it? About 44000 miles.

Saw this on the other forum.

Ultimately you can clear and go, it just means that twp regens happened in a short interval. Some times the detection of this fault can get thrown off due to interrupted regeneration events.

If it continues to happen it can be a sign your engine is smoking heavily, most of the time due to a partially disconnected or loose cac hose.

Thanks for the reply, but what is the cac hose?
