I need help asap anybody please lol my buddy has a 2007 ram 3500 with the 6.7 cummins we put a new injection pump on it and the truck runs great he had no codes prior to the installation of the injection pump but now his boost is reading 6psi at an idol without even touching the throttle and he keeps getting a p2580 code for the turbo speed ssensor we clear the code out and it comes back after so many cycles of the key. Can anyone possibly give me some advice on what I could have done to affect those two sensors. The only thing I can think that I could have done is when I finished up putting the pump on I did forget to tighten up the one nut on the feed supply line and fuel did get on the pcm connectors could I have a possible short now and would cleaning the connectors with cleaner help any help would be great thanks

Since it was the last thing done and the problem started I would remove and clean the pcm connectors using electronic contact cleaner (not a degreaser or such) and protect the connections with dielectric grease when reassembled.

I'd also check the O2 sensors. I was getting some codes too and replacing the rear sensor fixed it. 2008 2500 6M 225,000+ miles
