Anyone had the P65 recall done on their truck? My dealer says the parts are not currently available. I registered my truck on the Dodge Owners site and they came back with this recall. Hmmmmmm.....

I got a notice in the mai months ago. I think they are designing the new heater. Then they have to manufacture it. Might be a few months. They said just to keep an eye out for leaks or fuel smell

Not sure this is related since I couldn't make out exactly what year it was, but on Sat. just outside of Pueblo, CO., there was a Dodge pulling a horse trailer that was engulfed in flames about 7 miles north on I-25. When I headed back through that area an hour later it had already been moved. Not a good deal regardless of the cause.

I talked to me dealer yesterday - said cannot perform recall due to lack of parts - cannot say when will have parts.

I am going to do the dielectric grease.

I am just going to go to Florida. That way the heater probably won't come on. My dealer has no idea when there will be parts

I've got a truck coming - just shipping - do you guys think the trucks leaving Mexico are leaving with the new part? Surely they are, which would eliminate the need for a recall on a new truck?

Ask the dealer. The dealers can see if there is an outstanding recall. Also specifically ask them to update the RRT 's (software). We all had check engine lights because the sensors were programed at wrong levels.
