my buddy has a95 auto and is wondering how to up the fuel. he has 370 inj. and nothing else has ben done he can get a fuel plate . why isnt there a plate on the back of the gov. housing is that the smaller pump im not use to looking at 12 valves with that style of pump any instructions would be great thanks josh

I'm not sure what you are talking about after "why". The rear part of the injection pump is where the governor is. No smaller pump in there. The top part is the AFC which limits fuel before there is sufficient fuel to burn it properly. If the AFC housing is removed (the four screws on top) than you can get at the fuel load throttle stop AKA the fuel plate. It is easy to replace and adjust. Before messing with any of this stuff an EGT gauge is a must.

on the back of some p7100 there is a square plate behind that plate is the fuel screw and gov. adj. you dont know what im talking about . on this pump there is nothing like that i havent adjusted a pump like this . i work on theese engines every day in a industrial application and we run the p7100 that i discribed. all i want is for some one to give me some imput -drawings on how to adjust the fuel and or install a fuel plate thanks

Check the TST web site for the plate info. The only screw on the back of the pump on these P7100 pumps is to adjust the high idle. Basically, all it does is allow a little bit more throttle lever travel. Not much affect on the governor and not much help with performance under load. The governor springs can be adjusted from the side by removing a plug. About two clicks on each spring is all that will work without messing up the idle. That will raise max RPM a little.
