P7100 o-ring

Is the following p/n correct: cummins 3969698? This should be the seal for the p-pump to the timing case.

Is it a square ring or a round ring? I've seen different prices on the web with the same p/n, and I don't know what it should be.

Should it be replaced when the p-pump gets removed? I believe mine to be original, aged 24years.
I plan on replacing the tappet cover gasket and wish to be prepared.

Maybe some one has better access to the parts descriptions.

From my ESN on quickserve an older number is listed which is describe as a rectangular seal.

When you click on that part number it shows all the numbers, that newer part matches your number is described as an O-ring so I would order your number.

My guess is its coming as a round o-ring with the newer number.
