I have a 1997 2500 Ram that is totally stock (engine wise). I have been thinking about upgrading the torque plate from stock. So, I have reading various articles on how to install the torque plate and AFC spring kit.
I decided to take the digital camera and take pictures of the P7100 for reference purposes while I was reading the articles. On one of the pictures there appears to be an "open threaded" hole on the side of the P7100 closest to the engine block. (see attached photo)
Is this normal?? Or did some kind of plug fall out?? If so, what kind of plug was it and where can one get a replacement??
BTW, the truck has 142,000 miles on it and runs great. .
Thanks, Dan. .
