:confused: HI, I have a question or several questions, I do not have the GSK yet and I can only pull 2500 with my foot through the firewall in 4th and 5th, but in 2nd and 3rd it will pull 3k is this normal? also the boost will go to 32# in 4th and 5th but falls off to 23# after about 2300 rpm. will a GSK fix this? also do I need bigger delivery valves, I think mine are stock but I am not sure, How can I tell?

The gov spring kit will give more fuel and allow the engine to fuel all the way up to 3200rpm or more. The reason why your boost drops off in fifth gear because with the stock gov spring it will start defueling at 2500rpm.
 
I agree with nfox on the GSK.

I think that bigger delivery valves will help, but you don't want to start 'crowding' the injectors..... the injectors are the last thing in the fuel flow chain of events... . so all the fuel flow in the world prior to the injectors will bottle neck at them. Bigger delivery valves do help out quite a bit as well... . so does advancing your timing a few degrees... .

Trying not to sound stupid:confused: but just exactly what and where is the silencer ring? I have looked in the fender and there is nothing. Could be that the original wner took it out, or is it the rubber from the air box to the fenderwell? seems like if I remove that I would get warm underhood air.

Silencer ring in the inlet of the turbo, for lack of better words it smooths the air going into the turbo so there is a smoother flow/less noise(whine) pull yours out and go on a trip and you will surely have a headache.

before that as long as doing it why not go

with the 4 instead of the 3. What do you guys

think. Is there any neg. over the 3k besides

not paying attention to the tach and oopsing it?

Have you checked your gov lever to make it's in the right spot, that will make a big difference in performance. Look in piersdiesel website and he got some pictures of them and tells you how to adjust it.
 
60 lb valve springs are not a must unless you plan to exceed 3600rpm. I try not to rev past 3600 and dont float the valves and the springs are stock, yes there is a possibility of damage from high rpm but 3600 is better than 3000 and so far no sign of valve float and it may go more than that but I havnt seen it happen if it did.
