where can i see a blowup of the p7100 pump for my 12 valve. i would like to slide the stock plate and guage performance. but i would like to see whats inside?i dont want to monkey to much till spring. r there any directions somewhere on this vast site? tnx

Just loosen the two bolts highest on the left side of this picture and slide the plate forward. The plate is the metal piece with steps held on by these two bolts. Better yet buy a new plate and leave it in the same position as the stock plate, it will come with instructions. Sliding the stock plate forward without gauges is a recipe for piston meltdown.

i know the 5 speeds will run hotter, but i could barely hit 1150* on a 90* day with the stock plate forward (of course- i have the 180 pump). a ground stock plate now allows me to hit 1350* locked up in OD at WOT only, or 1150* otherwise.
