2,516 Black Bear average male weighed 205, female 155. With 41 bears over 500 pounds.
122,046 bear tags were sold.
Pa's second Elk season since 1931 with 31,548 applicants for 70 tags.
61 elk were taken. 878 pounds was the largest bull, 566 cow.
The herd is estimated at 552 animals.
Not bad, for a little state that is densely populated with too many people.
