Which box?

Amsoil??

I’m planning on upgrading my TC & trannie to handle a little more go power and add an E-brake to help slow down while towing.

The Pac-brake is located at the turbo and US Gear is remote.

What experience have you guys had…. comparisons, opinions, good or bad?

Thanks in advance…

Jeff

If you are going to put on an exhaust brake I would highly recomend a remote mount so that when you decide to go with more HP and need a bigger turbo you don't have to throw the turbo mount away and buy another. That is where I am at. And after having one I won't be without one. I think with an auto you will also need some sort of way to control convertor lockup while using the brake. If it's not always locked while using the brake it will really heat your oil and shorten the trans life. Jake

Yep The finkster said it. I have a BD remote and being I run a HX "Fahty" that left me with zero choice for a turbo mount. So if you are getting one now then a remote is a good idea. Yes Lockup is important. Seccond gear is the main stopping gear (I found anyhow) and when locked you have effective breaking down til about 18 mph. Without a controller you will shear the fluid and create a ton 'o heat real fast too.

thanks guys. . you have confirmed one of the things I was thinking about, turbo change-out.

yes, a tc locking controller will be part of the trans rework. :D

thanks Jeff:)
