My new pacbrake engages in between shifts and I find it kind of annoying. If I install the optional clutch switch from Pacbrake, will it stop that? If not, is there something else I can do other than turn the brake off or hold slight pressure on the gas pedal while shifting?

I don't know how yours is wired, but on mine, I have a shifter mounted switch, and I can activate or deactivate at my pleasure. The switch is a push pull like you would see for a 2 speed axle.

I made my own clutch switch, had a switch used for a backup alarm that is activitated by the shifter. For operating the switch the arm is about 3 inches long and a spring. Made a bracket that mounted the switch arm so that is is on when the clutch petal is out, and off when the clutch petal is in just a little bit. If I let my foot ride the clutch petal, the switch is off. I wired this in the PacBrake switch circuit so it breakes the ground when in. I added the switch because the "hiss" when shifting was driving me crazy.
