Tire Size vs. Tire Wear

Hello everyone,

After taking the Lida cutoff from US95 over the mountain to US395 at Big Pine, Ca and taking my 34 ft. 5er down an 8% grade, I am now in the market for a Pacbrake and an installer here in the Las Vegas area. Mark, are you there? I got really tired of being pushed around. Going up the hills with the CTD was no problem but I think the Pacbrake is a great idea. I have a 6 speed so am I restricted to what product I can get? I've seen the ads for Banks but I think they are for automatics but what do I know?

Thanks,

Stan (not a chick)

I have the Jacobs on mine, Pacbrake is supposed to be a good one too. Give me a shout tomorrow, or I'll cruise by and see if you're there.

I have a PacBrake also and pull a large 40ft Toy Hauler and the PacBrake is the single best piece of equipment on my truck. It lets you tow with ease and once it is wired into your truck, it works very well with the rest of the systems. Good luck finding an installer, I use my brake even when not pulling, just cause it saves so much extra wear on the brakes. I like mine alot! Scotty
