Pacbrake

Does anyone have information on using a Pacbrake for engine braking on Dodge 24V with automatic overdrive? I have recently purchased 5th wheel and now concidering upgrading to standard shift unless some one has information on good engine brake to use with automatic transmission. Everything else about the truck is great and hate spending more money now but need the safety in mountain country.

I have a pacbrake and also have a BD Autoloc. It works like a dream. I think you will need something to lock the tc because you will not get much braking unless the tc is locked. They say that you can drop into a lower gear but this increases the trans. temp. We pull a 5'er into Montana each year and wouldn't go without it.
