Here I am

Pages loop to constantly reload

The NEW and IMPROVED? format stinks

New theme updates

Just got back from vacation and have a big problem, ONLY on TDR, and not before you made this new change.
When I click to surf to TDR, the home page will render and if I dont immediatelly click stop, the page will clear and try to reload again. It will just keep doing this until I catch a full page and hit stop.

Now, when I go to a specific forum page or the posts on that page, the reload issue starts all over again. You got to be quick to hit stop at the right time.

No problems on any other site and this problem was never here before the new format change

Which browser and operating system? * Thanks.

Which browser and operating system? * Thanks.

I run (2) Mac G5's with Mac OS 10.5.8 and Firefox. And also a Mac IBook with OS 10.5.8 and Firefox. All have the same issue. As mentioned before I went on vacation all was well. Came home with the new TDR format and have the problem.

This problem does not happen on any other forum or web site.

Thanks

I'll see what I can do, but I checked the logs and your browser version isn't one I can even test. The farthest back I can go is Firefox 4.x on Snow Leopard, logs show you're running Firefox 3.6.

I use Firefox 3.6.28, which is the last version of Firefox that will run on a Power Mac. Thank You

I have reported it to the company that made the skin.

In the meantime, I did some checking and apparently a much more current version of Firefox are available for PowerPC Macs:

http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

These people take the Firefox source code and compile it to run on a PowerPC with a lot of success. There's even a Wikipedia page about the project.

Thank you for the info on TenFourFox. I did not know it existed. I have a spare, unused Mac G5 that can be a mule to test TenFourFox. I really appreciate your information

FYI - I installed 3.6.28 on my mac and didn't have any problems with the page reloading. There was part of a comment shown at the very top of the screen but other than that didn't seem to have any problems.
