My drivers seat in my 03 is the 8 way delux cloth 60-40 or what ever its called.

I some times call it a pain in the butt, My seat like I guess all the others have the raised little cushion thingies on each side of a flat center. My problem is, the center of the seat is pretty soft allowing my butt to sink down in the center and leave the sides of my butt hanging on them little side cushions, which have very little cushion covering the metal frame work of the seat. Needless to say, it makes for a very uncomfortable ride after less than 2 hours of driving. Has anybody else found this to be a problem?

I am checking in my area for an upholstery shop that can rebuild the cushions in this seat to end this pain in the butt.

Love everything else about this truck, but my 93 club cab had a much more comfortable seat, I could drive for hours on end with no problem. :--)

I have the leather seats, but I noticed they are very different from the ones in the 98 I had. I had to start putting my wallet in my front pocket because it hurt my lower back so much. I have a herniated disc, but I can say that my back has not gone out in quite some time now... *knock on wood* and generally hurts less on a daily basis than when I kept the wallet in the back pocket. Trying to change the habit of putting the wallet in the back pocket for almost 30 years is hard to break...

Dogman. You are probably right, and I do need to lose weight, working on that now, but my 93 is still way more comfortable even at the weight I am. Oo. Oo.

Well I will see what an upholstery shop can do and have been losing a few so maybe I can have comfort soon.

I also had a 93 with the most comfortable bucket seats I've ever sat in. The seats in the new ones are disappointing and will need a lot of work to even come close.

By the way guys' dont feel bad about "fitting" your truck, My "friends" at work told me I looked "puny" in my new truck!

So I just raised the seat up a little :p

PD,

I had to raise the seat up a lot just to get my beady little blues to see over the dash, then I had to raise the pedals for my short legs:p . I do like the combinations of comfortable positions available with the power seats, pedals and steering wheel.
