I just ordered one of the Painless Cirkit Boss from Geno's to clean up and organize my accessory wiring. It has 4 ignition hot fused circuits and 3 constant hot fused circuits. I have some questions for the electrical wiring gurus:

1) Where are you mounting this fuse block for a clean installation? Pictures?

2) Where are you getting the ignition hot source from to trigger the relay?

-Thanks-

Great Question as I would like the same info as I am ordering a weatherproof Painless

Is yours weatherproof? I imagine if it were not it could limit where you can install it?

I ordered the eatherproof one just in case - to keep my options open. I'll do a search here and see what I come up with.

I have 2 of these unit on my truck. One is mounted inside the cab, you can zip tie it to the steering colum or use self tapping sheetmetal screw and screw it to a aluminum piece on the steering colum. The other I mounted on the firewall on the drivers side (pics in RR). Painless supplies a fuse tap and you just use that to tap into a circut that is igg hot. I use a tester to make sure I tapped the right side of the fuse so it is not always hot. Just find a igg. hot in the fuse panel under the hood.

Hope that helps ;)
