painless wiring - where to mount?

Hey gang, I just got my painless wiring kit from Geno's and I was wondering where some of you found a good place to mount it. I have the interior block.

Looks like a easy install but thought I'll save a little time by picking you brains.

BTY, installed my e-brake on Friday, took about 3 hours, very easy installation. Wonder how I did without it.

There is a great article in TDR issue #26 page 84. I followed the instructions and it was a piece of cake. Clean and simple. Location is just behind the knee bolster.

As I had already surrendered the area behind the knee bolster for other accessories prior to the article mentioned by Arlan, I elected to mount my waterproof Painless Wiring Cirkit Boss under my seat. I have it mounted to the side of the seat frame where only two of the four bolts are visible... naturally, those are s/s button heads. heh,heh,heh. All in all, the installaion came out very trick!

The reason I ordered the waterproof version was because at the time I placed my order I didn't know where I was going to mount it. The waterproof unit would allow me to mount it anywhere. The only differences between the two are the epoxy filled "back" (connections) and the rubber dust cap with the waterproof/dustproof unit.

I saw a waterproof Cirkit Boss mounted on a RWAL Ram, at the top (front) of the cowl about 4" from the end closest to the driver side end (right where my alarm siren is mounted). He appeared to have more room in that area than I have with my 4WAL brake components.
