paint remover

Does anybody know of a paint remover for plastic, I tried a stripper for flexible bumpers and it started to melt the plastic.

When I worked at a tractor dealer we used gasket remover to eat off paint. Spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes and the paint will bubble up, may take more that one appl. though. As always try it on a small inconspicuous spot before spraying the whole thing. I really have no idea if this stuff will eat plastic as well as it does paint.
